Skills for a Changing World
The Brookings Institution and LEGO Foundation partnered up to create a “Skills for a Changing World,” movement to emphasize the importance of 21st-century skills in the classroom. The collaboration sought to ensure all children built a breadth of skills needed to withstand social, technological, and economic demands. The partnership turned to Zago to support and design an event that brought together educational leaders, thought-leaders, and many others.
To visually represent all the players in the movement, we combined shapes and colors to create a feeling of a collective power. The use of transparency and scale gave the shapes a playful element which represents interconnected skills like creativity, innovation, critical thinking, and perseverance. The concept translated into pieces like reports, badges, and posters.
